On 29 January, from 10:00 to 15:00, the KSE Institute, supported by the Ministry of Economy, Environment and Agriculture of Ukraine and the British Embassy in Ukraine, will hold a free online workshop ‘Attracting investment and economic development of communities: a coordinate system and tools (using the example of industrial parks)’.
We invite to participate:
Representatives of state authorities and local self-government bodies;
Representatives of business associations, clusters and alliances;
Industrial investors and managers of companies and projects;
Economic experts and opinion leaders;
Business consultants and analysts;
Public leaders interested in local economic development.
Purpose of the seminar — to form a comprehensive understanding of the mechanisms of local economic development, taking into account:
Global trends;
State economic policy;
International practices;
The experience of Ukrainian companies in applying economic engineering tools using the example of industrial parks;
Assessment of the activities and advantages of industrial parks for investors, communities and the state, legislative incentives and successful cases.
Participants will receive practical recommendations – how to unlock the economic potential of the community and create new opportunities for investors and entrepreneurs using the example of industrial park development. Among the speakers are representatives of the government, parliament, local authorities, business and experts.
